WHY CHOOSE US

Why Builders and Contractors Choose Anytime Accountant

Specialist Construction Accountants

Specialist Construction Accountants

We track profitability by job, the way the construction industry really operates.

Valuations vs Work Completed

Interim valuations don't always match the work completed at month end. If you've applied for more than you've done, a job looks more profitable than it is. If you're behind, or retentions are mixed in with regular debtors, a profitable job can look like a loss. As accountants for construction companies, we track costs, applications and retentions separately by project, so you know which jobs to price again.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does CIS affect payments to our subcontractors?

Before paying a subcontractor, you must verify them with HMRC, which tells you the rate to deduct from the labour element of their invoice: the standard rate if they're registered, a higher rate if they're not, or nothing if they hold gross payment status. Deductions are reported to HMRC on a monthly return. We handle verification, deductions and returns.
